Mexican Beef Bake

1 lb
lean ground beef
2 Tbsp
chili powder
1 c
taco sauce
1 can(s)
chopped green chiles, drained
1/2 tsp
12 oz
can whole kernel corn, drained
1/4 c
sliced green onions
1 c
sliced pitted black olives
1 c
monterey jack cheese, shredded
1 c
tortilla chips
1/2 c
sour cream
1 large
tomato, chopped


1Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until well browned.
3Stir in chili powder; cook 1 minute.
4Remove from heat; stir in taco sauce, green chiles and salt.
5In small bowl, combine corn and half of green onions.
6In 1 1/2-quart casserole, layer half corn mixture, half beef mixture, half olives and half cheese.
7Repeat layering.
8Bake, covered, 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
9Garnish with tortilla chips, sour cream, tomato and remaining green onions.
