Ingredients
- 1 - uncooked 8 or 9-inch pie crust
- 1 - egg
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 can Mexicorn, drained (I use Green Giant brand)
- 1/2 cup soda cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons dried bell pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 4 - pimento stuffed green olives, sliced
- 6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled, if desired
- TOPPING:
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make mexicali meat pie

Step 1In mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add ground beef, corn, cracker crumbs, chili sauce, pepper flakes, onion and oregano. Mix well.

Step 2Press meat mixture firmly into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake at 425° for 20-25 minutes.

Step 3Mix topping ingredients; spread over cooked meat. Top with olive slices and crumbled bacon, if desired. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

Step 4Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
