This has been an appetizer for the past 30 yrs.
Everyone likes it served with tortilla chips.

1/2 lb.
ground beef
1 pkg
taco mix seasoning
1 can(s)
refried beans
1 can(s)
tomato sauce
1 small
onion, chopped
green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
1 1/4 tsp
chili powder,can use more if desired
1 c
sour cream mixed with 1/4 tsp. chil powder
chopped lelttuce (optional)
chopped olives (optional)

How to Make Mexi Dip


  • 1Brown ground beef until juices run clear and drain.
  • 2Return ground beef to pan and add refried beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, onion, green pepper, chili powder and dry mustard.
    Mix well and heat until boiling.
  • 3Spread in a 9 inch pie plate. After cooled in fridge, top with chopped lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of your choice. Also can add chopped tomatoes or toppings of your choice.
