This has been an appetizer for the past 30 yrs.
Everyone likes it served with tortilla chips.

  • 1/2 lb.
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    taco mix seasoning
  • 1 can(s)
    refried beans
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    chili powder,can use more if desired
  • 1 c
    sour cream mixed with 1/4 tsp. chil powder
  • ·
    chopped lelttuce (optional)
  • ·
    chopped olives (optional)

How to Make Mexi Dip


  1. Brown ground beef until juices run clear and drain.
  2. Return ground beef to pan and add refried beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, onion, green pepper, chili powder and dry mustard.
    Mix well and heat until boiling.
  3. Spread in a 9 inch pie plate. After cooled in fridge, top with chopped lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of your choice. Also can add chopped tomatoes or toppings of your choice.
