Blue Ribbon Recipe
A simple slow cooker meal the whole family will love. The pieces of beef in this Crock Pot beef stroganoff is tender and melts in your mouth. The creamy sauce is full of flavor and perfect over egg noodles. A comforting meal to add to your dinner rotation.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Gravy Master
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 16 ounces wide egg noodles

Step 1Heat 3 Tbsp olive oil in a skillet. Brown beef in skillet until only the outsides are browned.

Step 2While meat is browning, combine soup, water, broth, veggies, and Worchestershire sauce in Crock Pot and stir well.

Step 3Stir in the onions and mushrooms.

Step 4Add well-drained beef, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and Gravy Master; stir again. Set Crock Pot to low setting. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Step 5Just before serving, prepare your noodles as directed on the package. Turn Crock Pot to high and add cubed cream cheese to the sauce. Stir until melted and combined. Turn heat off and let sit 10 minutes.

Step 6You can stir your noodles into the sauce or serve your sauce over your noodles. That's all there is to it. Simple and yummy!
