Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound boneless beef bottom round
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons minced dried onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 5/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 6 ounces linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive or other vegetable oil
  • 1 package frozen broccoli, cauliflower, carrots-16 ounces
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • - grated parmesan cheese

How To Make mediterranean stir-fried beef

  • Step 1
    Partially freeze beef, thinly slice across grain into bite-size strips.
  • Step 2
    Combine water, vinegar, onion, pepper and red pepper.
  • Step 3
    Add meat, mix well.
  • Step 4
    Marinate 15 minutes at room temperature.
  • Step 5
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Step 6
    Drain; toss with butter.
  • Step 7
    Keep warm.

    Drain meat, reserving marinade.

    Stir cornstarch into reserved marinade; set aside.
