During a busy work week, I will mix this up the night before to toss in the oven after work.
Best to use a self draining meatloaf pan but if you don't have one...line pan w/heavy duty aluminum foil(use toothpick to put holes to drain).

How to Make Meatloaf w/a Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. In large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients. Be care to sprinkle red pepper over mixture so you don't create a "hot" spot. Mix well & press into meatloaf pan. Cover w/aluminum foil & refrigerate if planning ahead or you can cook right away too.
  2. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in 375 degree oven. Uncover & top with portion of sauce (See sauce details below). Return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce is bubbly.
  3. In a small microwave safe bowl, mix together sauce ingredients. Microwave & stir in 30 seconds increments until sugar is combined. Also, microwave unused portion for a dipping sauce.
