meatloaf pie
This recipe is almost like an Italian meatball in a pie plate. I have made this recipe for years and my family really enjoys it. I serve it with a vegetable and salad.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburg (90 percent fat free)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup bisquick baking mix
- 3 - eggs
- 2 - tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or provolone (i use the provolone)
How To Make meatloaf pie

Step 1Heat over to 400 degrees

Step 2Grease a pie plate, 10 X 1 & 1/2 inches

Step 3Brown beef and onion, drain.

Step 4Stir in salt, pepper, parsley and garlic. Spread mixture in pie plate.

Step 5Beat milk, baking mix and eggs until smooth, 1 minute with a hand mixer or 15 seconds in a blender on high.

Step 6Pour into plate.

Step 7Bake 25 minutes.

Step 8Open oven door and add tomato slices on top and sprinkle with the 1 cup of cheese.

Step 9Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 5 to 8 minutes. It might take longer depending on the oven.

Step 10Cool for 5 minutes.
