meatloaf cast iron skillet way

My family loves this and it is good enough for company as well. It is very flavorful and I bake in a cast iron skillet to get a pretty crust on the bottom. Also leftovers make a great sandwich on lightly toasted Texas bread with A1 sauce on it.Pile it high with your favorite cheese and veggies..oh my goodness I am so ready to make this for the cooler weather...

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef (lean)
- 1/2 pound pork, ground
- 1 cup bread crumbs-toasted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 can tomatoes, canned ( petite diced drained well)
- 1/4 cup white onions and bell peppers chopped
- 1/4 cup celery (chopped use some tops too)
- 1/4 cup heinz catsup
- 1 cup heinz catsup
- - s&p and garlic powder

Step 11: Preheat oven to 350. 2: Mix bread crumbs milk and egg together set aside. 3: Add meat, onions, tomatoes,green peppers with 3/4 cup catsup amd season salt/pepper/garlic. 4: Mix well don't overwork.I half to use my hands on this one. 6: Shape into cast iron skillet from side to side. 7: Pour 1 cup catsup over the top and bake 1 hour. 8: 1/2 way through the baking check for excess grease and suction out some. Not to much it will dry out.
