This is a family favorite in a lot of homes... While I've never been a HUGE meatloaf lover, this is the recipe my family used growing up and its wonderful comfort food!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1 cup heinz 57 steak sauce
- 1 - medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 package lawy's meatloaf seasoning
- - ketchup
How To Make meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan or foil lined baking dish.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients EXCEPT for the ketchup until mixed well.

Step 3Place mixture in or on baking dish and mold into a loaf if not using a loaf pan.

Step 4Take ketchup and brush the entire loaf as if you were frosting a cake.

Step 5Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until done. Let stand for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
