Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak
- 1/2 package cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1.5 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 - eggs
- 2 pounds ground meat (beef, pork, turkey)
- 2 teaspoons flour
- - cooking oil
- 1/2 - onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 - green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- - water
- 1/2 cup white wine
How To Make meatballs with sauce

Step 1Grind sirloin and dice cheese into 1/4\" cubes.

Step 2Mix onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper, with the eggs, ground meat and sirloin.

Step 3Roll into 2-1/2 inch balls.

Step 4With a spoon make a hole in the center of each meatball, put in a cube of cheese and reclose the ball.

Step 5Roll in flour and brown.

Step 6Make roux with 2 teaspoons flour and cooking oil.

Step 7Add onions, then add green peppers.

Step 8Add tomato sauce and one can of water.

Step 9Let simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 10Add meatballs and let simmer until gravy reaches desired thickness.

Step 11Add white wine and stir.

Step 12This can be served over spaghetti or rice with a salad.
