ground beef
eggs, beaten
onions, chopped
1 1/2 c
bread crumbs
3 lb
fresh mushrooms
1 1/3 Tbsp
butter, melted
2 can(s)
mushroom soup
2 can(s)
water (from soup can)
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Meatballs in Mushroom Sauce


  • 1In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs,onions, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper thoroughly. Form into balls. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • 2Clean mushrooms thoroughly and slice. Saute lightly in butter.
  • 3Alternate layers of meatballs and mushrooms in slow cooker. Add mushroom soup diluted with water.
    Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours until thoroughly heated.
