Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 2 - onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 3 pounds fresh mushrooms
- 1 1/3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cans mushroom soup
- 2 cans water (from soup can)
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make meatballs in mushroom sauce

Step 1In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs,onions, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper thoroughly. Form into balls. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 2Clean mushrooms thoroughly and slice. Saute lightly in butter.

Step 3Alternate layers of meatballs and mushrooms in slow cooker. Add mushroom soup diluted with water. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours until thoroughly heated.
