egg, lightly beaten
3 Tbsp
3/4 c
dried bread crumbs
3 Tbsp
dried parsley
1/4 tsp
freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp
basil, crumbled

tomato sauce

How to Make Meatballs For Spaghetti


  • 1Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg and pepper.
  • 2Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter.
  • 3Melt the oil in a saucepan.
  • 4Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat.
  • 5Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes.
  • 6Serve over spaghetti.
