    garlic clove, minced
  • 1
    egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 3/4 c
    dried bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    basil, crumbled
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce

How to Make Meatballs For Spaghetti


  1. Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg and pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Melt the oil in a saucepan.
  4. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat.
  5. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes.
  6. Serve over spaghetti.
