Ingredients

·1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

·1 1/2 t. salt

·1/2 t. pepper
-
·pinch thyme
-
·1/2 cup cracker crumbs (or bread crumbs)

·1/2 cup finely chopped onion

·2/3 cup milk
-
·1 can corn (12 oz)
-
·1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
-
·1/4 cup catsup
-
·parsley for garnish
How to Make Meat Loaf with a Heart of Gold (TNT)
- Mix beef, salt, pepper, thyme, cracker crumbs, onion and milk. Mix until
smooth. - Put meat mixture on waxed paper, pat it out into a 12" square
- Drain
corn of all liquid. Mix cheese with corn and spread it over meat mixture up
to one inch of edge. Roll like a jelly roll, lifting wax paper to roll meat
over. Seal edges by pressing meat firmly together. Place in open roasting
pan and bake in a preheated 375 oven for 30 minutes. Brush catsup over loaf
and bake another 30 minutes. Let sit for about 12 minutes for easier
slicing. Serves 6
