Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup small bread cubes
  • 2 - beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 - egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • - dash pepper
  • 5 - refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

How To Make meat loaf wellington

  • Step 1
    Mix 1/2 cup bouillon with bread cubes and add egg. Let stand about 5 minutes or until croutons are softened; beat until smooth and fluffy.
  • Step 2
    Add meat, onion, salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Shape into loaf. Place in shallow baking pan
  • Step 4
    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Separate crescent rolls; place crosswise over top and down sides of loaf, overlapping slightly.
  • Step 6
    Bake 15 minutes more.
