Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large
    chopped onion
  • 2
    carrots, grated
  • 2
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce

How to Make Meat Loaf Teriyaki

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all but last 2 ingredients.
  2. Form into 1 or 2 loaves and place in a 9 X 9" baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and drain off grease.
  5. Mix together the brown sugar and soy sauce and pour over meat.
  6. Bake for 30 more minutes and remove meat to serving platter.
  7. Pour sauce over sliced meat loaf or serve separately.
