A nice Italian twist on regular meatloaf. Feel free to top the meatloaf with your favorite pasta sauce or sauce of your choice; however, meatloaf can be baked and served as is.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 6 ounces italian sausage, casings removed (hot or sweet - your preference)
- 1 can 14.5 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped (or color of your choice)
- 1 - egg, beaten
- - can be topped with your favorite pasta sauce or any sauce of your choice
How To Make meat loaf - italian style

Step 1Combine all ingredients in a bowl; mix well.

Step 2Place meat into an 8x4.5 inch glass baking dish. If preferred, spoon your favorite pasta sauce over the top or a sauce of your choice. Can be baked just as is.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees F - 65 to 75 minutes or until no longer pink in the center.
