Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    onion, minced
  • 1
    bell pepper, minced
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    molasses

How to Make Meat Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, bell pepper, milk, bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 5x9" loaf pan OR form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13" baking dish.
  2. In a separate small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar and molasses. Mix well and pour over meat loaf.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
