- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
How To Make mary's simple salisbury steak

Step 1In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup of soup, chuck, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape firmly into 6 oval patties. In a skillet over medium high heat heat 1 tbsp. oil, cook patties until browned. Spoon off fat.

Step 2Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Cover; simmer 20 - 25 minutes, turning occaionally.
