vegetable oil
1 Tbsp
dry vermouth
garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
dried marjoram
1/4 tsp
5 ounce rib eye/sirloin steaks
pimento stuffed olives
1 dash(es)
angostura bitters

How to Make Martini Steak


  • 1In a shallow dish, combine all ingredients except meat and olives.
  • 2Score steaks with shallow crisscross cuts on one side; add to marinade.
  • 3Marinate at room temperature for two hours; turn several times.
  • 4Remove steaks, save marinade.
  • 5Broil or place on hot grill about three inches from heat.
  • 6Cook four minutes per side for rare; six minutes for medium; baste meat several times with marinade.
  • 7Garnish with olives on a toothpick.
