Ingredients

  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 lb
    sirloin steak, cut into 2" cubes
  • 1
    green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
  • 2
    onions, quartered
  • 2
    tomatoes, quartered

How to Make Marinated Steak Kabobs

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute onion in oil; remove from heat.
  2. Stir in lemon juice, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and mustard; pour over meat and vegetables.
  3. Cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Remover meat and vegetables from marinade, reserving marinade.
  5. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers.
  6. Grill 5 minutes on each side over medium coals or until desired degree of doneness, brushing frequently with marinade.
