How To Make marinated seared flatiron steak
-
Step 1Trim the steak of any fat. Mix the marinade ingredients together and place the steak in a Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over the steak and place it on a paper plate in the fridge. Let it marinate overnight.
-
Step 2Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about an hour.
-
Step 3Get a cast iron pan and add a little oil. Once the pan is hot, sear the steak for about 5 minutes on each side, depending on how thick the steak is.
-
Step 4Remove the steak to a carving board and tent with foil.
-
Step 5Let it rest for 15 minutes. Slice and enjoy.
