This is a family favorite from a friend of over 59 years (we lost her in February). It is very easy to make, and can be broiled or grilled.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup white or red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 small bud garlic - chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • - meat tenderizer

How To Make marinated roast

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients, except tenderizer, soak 12-24 hours (or longer) at room tempeture. Add tenderizer to both sides 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  • Step 2
    Roast can be grilled or broiled. Cooking time depends on how well done meat is desired. I have found the best results, most tender, is when it is done to medium-medium rare.
