This is a family favorite from a friend of over 59 years (we lost her in February). It is very easy to make, and can be broiled or grilled.

Ingredients

1 bottle
soy sauce
3/4 c
white or red wine vinegar
1/2 c
oil
1 small
bud garlic - chopped
3 Tbsp
sugar
1/4 c
worcestershire sauce
meat tenderizer

How to Make Marinated Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients, except tenderizer, soak 12-24 hours (or longer) at room tempeture. Add tenderizer to both sides 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  • 2Roast can be grilled or broiled. Cooking time depends on how well done meat is desired. I have found the best results, most tender, is when it is done to medium-medium rare.
