mama's delicious meatloaf

My mother could not make a meatloaf to save her life...so I tweeked her recipe and now make a meatloaf even meatloaf haters like!!! My kids love to hear that I'm making meatloaf and so do all their friends!!!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 1 sleeve - crushed cracker crumbs (ritz or saltine)
- 1/2 - 3/4 cups ketchup
- 1 cup chopped sweet onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- - minced garlic to taste
- - parmesan cheese to taste
- - season salt to taste
- 2 - eggs, beaten
How To Make mama's delicious meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together and form into loaf in 9 x 13 pain. I usually add all the ingredients up to the pepper first than add about a heaping tablespoon of minced garlic from a jar, mix it up and see if it smells "garlicky" enough for us. I then pour some grated parmesan cheese to fill the palm of my hand and add that. Then comes a few shakes of the season salt. mix all together, give it a test smell...if it smells the way I want it to taste then I add my beaten eggs. If not, just keep adding until I get it to where I want it. Sometimes I'll add about 2 cups of shredded cheese to it. I have never made a sauce to go over it, it's always been tasty and juicy without it but feel free to tweek to fit your taste!!

Step 3Bake for 60 - 90 minutes until done.

Step 4Let sit about 5-10 minutes before lifting out of pan onto serving plate.
