Magnificent Meatloaf

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbground beef and/or ground sirloin

2carrots
-
1zucchini
-
1/2apple, cored
-
1/4 conion, chopped

1/4 ccelery, chopped

1/2 cbread crumbs
-
1egg
-
2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
1 tspgarlic, crushed or minced
-
1 tspparsley flakes
-
1 tspbasil, dried
-
1 tspgaram masala spice
-
1 1/2 ctomato sauce, divided
-
1/2 ccheddar/jack cheese
How to Make Magnificent Meatloaf
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place meat in a large bowl, set aside. - Using a blender or food processor, finely chop the zucchini, carrot and apple. Add to meat.
- Also add to the meat the celery, onion, bread crumbs, egg, worcestershire sauce, garlic, parsley, basil, garam masala, and a 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce. Blend well....don't be afraid to get you hands in there and mix it up thoroughly.
- Transfer meat to a 9x12 casserole dish and form a large rectangle, leaving approximately 1-2 inches around all sides.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, and top with remaining sauce and cheese. Bake for 10 minutes more.
Remove from oven and let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Tip: If too juicy, I like to remove the extra juices using a spoon or suction.
