madeleine's italian spinach meat balls
When my daughter was little, getting her to eat spinach or most other veggies was difficult, so this recipe helped. Now she is a vegetarian, we can't use the meat! Mom's recipe is nice and juicy, and you will love it.

- 10 ounces chopped frozen spinach
- 1 - egg
- 1 1/2 pounds ground round
- 2 tablespoons fresh bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons romano cheese, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/3 cup oil
How To Make madeleine's italian spinach meat balls

Step 1Cook spinach to package directions, drain thoroughly. Mix with all but oil. Form into 1" balls. Brown on all sides, cover and simmer 15 min.
