How To Make low fat swiss steak and gravy freezer meal

  • Step 1
Spray nonstick cooking spry on fry pan and brown steak on both sides.
  • Step 2
Place in freezer dish but do not clean frying pan. In a small bowl add flour then slowly add water while constantly stirring, so no lumps form.
  • Step 3
Add to frying pan and bring to a boil, using a spoon or spatula to lift any browned bits left over in the fry pan to create a sauce.
  • Step 4
When sauce thickens slightly, add remaining ingredients and stir.
  • Step 5
Pour sauce over chicken, allow to cool, cover, label and freeze.
  • Step 6
To serve, thaw overnight in fridge. If not already in a baking dish, pour into one.
  • Step 7
Cover baking dish. Bake in 350 oven for 2 1/2 hours or until cooked through and tender.
  • Step 8
This is great served over noodles.
