LOW CARB Ground Beef and Mushroom Skillet

Ingredients

2lbs. ground beef

16oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced

18 oz. can tomato sauce
-
4oz. cream cheese
-
1/2cup grated parmesan cheese
-
1medium onion, diced
-
1-1/2tsp. italian seasonsing
-
1-1/2tsp. salt
-
1/2tsp. black pepper
-
1/2cup heavy cream
-
1slightly rounded tsp. garlic powder
How to Make LOW CARB Ground Beef and Mushroom Skillet
- In a skillet with a little cooking oil and 2 tbsp. butter, saute mushrooms, sprinkling with salt, pepper, and some garlic powder. Cook to desired texture.
- In another skillet, brown ground beef, onion, and seasonings until beef is done and onions are translucent. Add tomato sauce and mix well.
- Add mushrooms. Add cream cheese and mix well. Add Parmesan cheese and mix well. Add heavy cream and stir well. Simmer until all flavors meld.
