if you are low carbing it, this a terrific burger recipe. it's time for me to go back to my old friend. :)

Ingredients

  • - 1 lb ground chuck
  • - 1 pkg dry ranch dressing
  • - 1 tbsp onion powder
  • - 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • - 2 tbs worcestershire sauce
  • - 4 lg portabella caps
  • - ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • - 1 large ripe tomato sliced thin
  • - 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • - 4 slices cheese (your favorite)
  • - dill pickle chips
  • - green leafy lettuce
  • - mayo
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make low carb double cheese stacker

  • Step 1
    Combine first 5 ingredients. Divide ground chuck into 4 equal ¼ lb patties. Brush portabella caps with extra virgin olive oil and salt and pepper both sides. Preheat grill. Grill mushrooms for about 6 minutes on each side or until soft. Grill burgers until desired doneness. The last minute of grilling, place cheese on burgers. Layer 1 mushroom cap, mayo, lettuce, add a little salt and pepper on tomato, onion, dill pickle, 2 cheeseburger, and top off with mushroom cap. For a lower fat version, use ground turkey and low fat cheese.
