I learned how to make this when working in a deli in Houston, Texas...many many many years ago, you can adjust recipe to suit any amount of servings

Ingredients
- 2 packages ground beef, not too lean
- 1 large green pepper
- 3 tablespoons dried onions
- 1 tablespoon sea salt and pepper
- 1 package sliced swiss cheese
- 1 package hoagie rolls or individual sandwich rolls
How To Make loose meat sandwich

Step 1chop green pepper and onions into tiny pieces

Step 2break down the ground beef into very small chunks

Step 3put ground beef in large quart pan

Step 4add peppers and onions to the meat

Step 5simmer on medium low, keep breaking down meat.. you DO NOT want to brown the meat

Step 6keep stirring mixture until meat, onions and peppers are are done..meat not pink, onions and peppers cooked

Step 7DO NOT DRAIN

Step 8turn heat down but not off

Step 9slice rolls on 3 side, leaving one side connected

Step 10spread mayonnaise on rolls

Step 11put sliced swiss cheese on top of mayonnaise

Step 12use slotted spoon and scoop mixture on to swiss cheese

Step 13keep lots of napkins handy..it gets really drippy
