liver & onions in gravy
These are my rendition of what we had back in Britain,liver in a beefy gravy with sauteed onions

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef liver
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons season salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 - diced purple onion
- 3 tablespoons butter or marg
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 & 1/2 cups beef stock
How To Make liver & onions in gravy

Step 1Heat oil & marg in fry pan, saute onions till browned remove from pan

Step 2Dip liver pieces in flour fry, till brown (not dry will finish cook in gravy)remove from pan

Step 3Add 1 1/2 cup beef stock thicken with 2 TBS seasoned flour left from dipping liver scraping goodness from pan, put liver & onions in with gravy cover with lid few more mins to cook in gravy & serve with rice or potatoes
