I found this meatball recipe in my stack of recipes that i have collected over the years.

Ingredients

  • 1 package stuffing mix, chicken
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 package ( 1 lb. ) frozen meatballs
  • 2 cups peas, frozen petite
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make layered meatball bake

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400*
  • Step 2
    Prepare stuffing mix as directed on pkg.
  • Step 3
    Mix soup and milk in a 13x9 baking dish. Stir in meatballs and peas; top with cheese and stuffing.
  • Step 4
    Bake 20-25 mins. or until heated through.
  • Step 5
    Variation: Prepare as directed, substituting 1 can ( 14 1/2 oz ) diced tomatoes for the soup, omitting milk and using Italian-flavored meatballs and shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese.
