How To Make lasagna

  • Step 1
Cook noodles according to directions..or you can use the no boil.
  • Step 2
In a large skillet add hamburger, sausage, onion, garlic and all seasonings.Cook over medium heat till meat is done.Drain well. I didn't put amounts for the seasonings..season to your taste. We LOVE garlic..lol
  • Step 3
Place meat back in skillet, add the tomatoes, sauce and paste..let simmer for 30 minutes or so.
  • Step 4
In a 9x13 pan start layeriing.. meat/sauce on bottom then a layer of noodles then the cheese. I do...meat.noodles..cheese..meat..noodles..cheese meat.. cheese. We like ours very meaty and cheesy. You can always add another layer of noodles if thats what you like.
  • Step 5
When I add mushrooms..husband hates them...I saute them in a little butter with pepper and garlic salt..then I put them on just part of the lasagna so he doesn't have to pick them out...He is so spoiled..lol
  • Step 6
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 35 minutes, remove foil and let cook for an additional 10 minutes. let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
