This lasagna is easy to prpare and is always a hit at my house. I usually serve it with a salad and garlic bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground sausage ( i use hot for some spice)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 large cottage cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 large spaghetti sauce
  • 6 - lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 4-6 cups mozzarella cheese

How To Make lasagna

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, brown ground beef and sausage with the garlic and onions. Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix container of cottage cheese, parm cheese, parsley and eggs. Stir with a spoon until the ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Cook the noodles in a pan with water and vegetable or olive oil until they are aldente. Drain and dry the noodles so the mixture will stick to them.
  • Step 4
    After meet mixture is browned, drain grease and put back into the skillet with the spaghetti sauce and simmer for 30 minutes covered.
  • Step 5
    After simmering the meet, let cool and mix with the cottage cheese mixture.
  • Step 6
    Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  • Step 7
    In a greased 9x13 dish, layer 3 noodles on the bottom, meet and cottage cheese mixture, then spinkle 2 to 2 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese. Repeat another layer.
  • Step 8
    Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 mins. Take the foil off and let the cheese melt, maybe another 10 minutes.
