Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted
  • 1/2 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 2 or 3 - green onions, chopped

How To Make ali's short ribs, korean style

  • Step 1
    ** NOTE** Allow at least two hours for marinating. Toast sesame seeds in oven for a few minutes, until lightly brown. Chop garlic.
  • Step 2
    Combine shoyu, water, sugar, tabasco, garlic, and sesame seeds.
  • Step 3
    Pour sauce into large plastic bag, add ribs. Marinate for 2 hours.
  • Step 4
    Place ribs on baking sheet (lined with aluminum foil).
  • Step 5
    Broil 2" from heat (turning over once) for about 15 minutes, or until ribs are brown and crisp on all sides.
  • Step 6
    Garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Step 7
    Serve with rice, of course. Totally yum-a-licious.
