sesame seed, toasted
1/2 c
shoyu (soy sauce)
1/4 c
1 Tbsp
1/2 tsp
tabasco sauce
1 clove
garlic, finely chopped
4 lb
beef short ribs
2 or 3
green onions, chopped

How to Make Ali's Short Ribs, Korean Style


  • 1** NOTE** Allow at least two hours for marinating.

    Toast sesame seeds in oven for a few minutes, until lightly brown.
    Chop garlic.
  • 2Combine shoyu, water, sugar, tabasco, garlic, and sesame seeds.
  • 3Pour sauce into large plastic bag, add ribs. Marinate for 2 hours.
  • 4Place ribs on baking sheet (lined with aluminum foil).
  • 5Broil 2" from heat (turning over once) for about 15 minutes, or until ribs are brown and crisp on all sides.
  • 6Garnish with chopped green onions.
  • 7Serve with rice, of course.
    Totally yum-a-licious.
