Ingredients For korean ground beef and rice bowl

1 lbextra lean ground beef

3 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 smnapa or chinese cabbage, shredded

1/4 cbrown sugar, packed

1/4 csoy sauce

2 tspsesame oil
-
1/2 tspginger, grated or ginger from a tube

1/4 tspcrushed red pepper flakes, or to taste

1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper

2 cwhite rice, cooked
-
green onions, sesame seeds, for garnish
How To Make korean ground beef and rice bowl

1Rinse the shredded cabbage and let it sit in a bowl of cold water until ready to add to the beef.

2Spray a large skillet with cooking spray, then cook the ground beef and garlic breaking it into crumbles over medium heat. As it browns, add in shredded cabbage, letting a little water remain. Cook the mixture until beef is no longer pink.

3In a small bowl whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and pepper. Pour over the ground beef and cabbage. Let simmer for another minute or two.

4Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
