If you like Mongolian beef this is a quick cheap easy fix for that flavor. When my cabnits are running low I tend to throw things together in attempts to mimic something . Kids said I nailed it . They love Mongolian but it takes awhile unlike this fast and easy ground beef version

- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4 teaspoons ginger
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 - onion sliced thiny
- 1 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 2-4 - dried thai red peppers. optional

Step 1Cook ground beef with garlic ginger and turmeric and onion

Step 2Add brown sugar and soy sauce and red peppers cook down until liquid is absorbed and meat has a sheen.
