korean bbq sliders with broccoli apple slaw
Sliders....a wonderful name for a sandwich that can be made so many ways. Perfect for potlucks, snacks, dinner. They are just plain fun! This is a Korean version. They are sweet and savory, tender and juicy. The Slaw is tangy, sweet and crunchy. A Perfect compliment to the beef.

How To Make korean bbq sliders with broccoli apple slaw
-
Step 1Thinly slice rib-eye and place in a zip lock bag. Note - slicing is actually easier if the the meat is partially frozen. Mix the rest of the marinade together and pour over steak. Let rest in the fridge for 24 hours.
-
Step 2An hour before cooking time add stir fry veggies to marinade and let it rest for an hour at room temperature.
-
Step 3Half an hour before cooking beef, mix mayo, vinegar, ginger juice, pepper, salt and sugar in a medium bowl. Add broccoli, apple, and onion. Refrigerate until serving time.
-
Step 4Heat wok or skillet on medium-high heat. Cook beef, a little marinade, and veggies in small batches for 3 minutes. The marinade will reduce and "stick" to the beef and veggies.(Yummy!)Keep warm in oven at 200 degrees.
-
Step 5To assemble sliders: Place beef mixture on rolls and top with slaw - Enjoy! I like to serve these with twice fried shoestring potatoes and Chinese Five Spice Ketchup. Recipe soon to follow
