1 1/2 to 2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
6 cloves garlic, minced
six stalks green onions, chopped, green portion only
freshly ground black pepper
5 pounds cross cut short ribs

How to Make Korean barbecue


  • 1in a large bowl, mix all ingredients except the meat and mix well. Add the meat and marinate, turning occasionally for about an hour.
  • 2Grill meat, preferably on a hibachi or other charcoal grill, until meat is done to your liking. Serves 10 to 12 using steak or six if using short ribs
