Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 16 ounces sauerkraut
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- - pepper, to taste
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced diagonally
How To Make kielbasa sausage with caraway sauerkraut

Step 1Combine onion, sauerkraut, wine, bay leaves, caraway seeds and pepper in heavy large saucepan.

Step 2Cover and simmer mixture for 30 minutes.

Step 3Add sausage and simmer 20 minutes.

Step 4Discard bay leaves and serve.

Step 5Note: I've also made this in the crock pot on low for about 6 hours.
