1 largeonion, chopped
1 cdry white wine
1/2 tspcaraway seed
·pepper, to taste
1 lbkielbasa, sliced diagonally
How to Make Kielbasa Sausage With Caraway Sauerkraut
- Combine onion, sauerkraut, wine, bay leaves, caraway seeds and pepper in heavy large saucepan.
- Cover and simmer mixture for 30 minutes.
- Add sausage and simmer 20 minutes.
- Discard bay leaves and serve.
I've also made this in the crock pot on low for about 6 hours.
