kielbasa and cabbage
My sister in-law introduced me to this dish. When she first described the combination of ingredients, I thought she was crazy, but didn't say anything. When we sat down to eat, I couldn't get enough! So very tasty!

Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 1 large head cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 pound polish kielbasa
- 3 medium red potatoes
How To Make kielbasa and cabbage

Step 1In a large skillet, fry bacon until browned, remove from pan. Saute onions and garlic in fat until soft, then add juice, sugar, onions and caraway seeds.

Step 2Add cabbage and gently stir. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 3Cube red potatoes and boil in microwave for 5 minutes, drain and add to cabbage.

Step 4Cut kielbasa into bite size pieces and fry in another pan until browned on all sides. Add to cabbage, and cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Crumple bacon over top and serve hot.
