I received this recipe from a friend many years ago. Kids really like these. They make a great quick lunch and also freeze very well. If your kids aren't picky eaters you might want to sneak in a few vegetables!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 18 slice
    bread, crusts removed
  • 1/4 c
    butter

How to Make Kid-Friendly Easy Meat Tarts

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook ground beef and drain it well. Mix all ingredients together except bread & butter.
  2. After removing crusts from the bread, butter and place butter-side down in muffin tins.
  3. Spoon meat mixture into the bread and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
