This is a recipe my Granny taught me years ago. She always had some ready to feed all of her grandkids that came over. It is now my daughter's favorite dish!

How to Make Kentucky Chop Suey

  1. Brown ground beef and add onions while browning. Drain well and put back in skillet.
  2. Stir in garlic and onion powders, pepper, and soy sauce.
Stir for about 20 seconds and let beef absorb juice a little.
  3. Add cooked rice at very last so that it will not soak up all soy and/or any grease that may remain. Serve piping hot with a side salad and some apple sauce. Yum!
