Ingredients
- 1 - asian pear, peeled and grated
- 1 - kiwi, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- - black pepper
- 2 pounds korean style beef short ribs
How To Make kalbi bbq short ribs

Step 1Combine the grated Asian pear, grated kiwi, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and a few cracks of black pepper in a large bowl.

Step 2Move marinade to gallon sized storage bag. Add the ribs, and marinated 4-8 hours.

Step 3Removed beef from the marinade and throw away the marinade.

Step 4There are 2 options for cooking. First one, grill the beef for 3-4 minutes on each side. Second way, broil them on a wire rack over a pan in the oven.

Step 5Either way cook until carmelized and deeply brown.
