Don't worry about leftovers cause there won't be any.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 20 Min
method Pan Fry
yield not very many ....they will be dissappearing fast

Ingredients

  • 6 - small tip of sirloin steaks or 1 flank steak or any cheap cut of beef, the cheaper the better .....we gonna make it tender
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil

How To Make josh and sydnie's country fried steak

  • Step 1
mix flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper together in a shallow dish
  • Step 2
put milk in a seperate dish
  • Step 3
add oil to non stick frying pan, electric skillet, but I prefer a cast iron skillet (that my mother and grandmother used), and put on med heat
  • Step 4
Now for the fun part, especially if you had a bad day, take the beef and cut into about 3in by 3 inch peices.
  • Step 5
It took me along time to figure out how to do this without getting it all over the kitchen, but put the beef in-between 2 peices of wax paper and beat it with a tenderizing hammer within an inch of its life. oR YOU CAN GET CUBE STEAK AT THE MARKET BUT ITS NOT AS THEROPUTIC....and whats the fun in that.
  • Step 6
Put the steak in the milk and shake off the excess then into the cornmeal/flour mixture and again shake off the excess but make sure that the meat is covered well.
  • Step 7
Fry to a golden brown and serve with garlic potatoes and gravey made in the same pan you fried the meat in so you get the good drippings off the meat. .......this meal is so good you can put a peice between your eyes, and your tounge will lick both eyebrows off trying to get to it.But I don't recommend doing this because an eyebrow-less person can look pretty silly at the table, ok folks lets be profesional here. I'm still laughing at you though.
