Meatloaf has been a family favorite around my house since I can remember. If we ever have any left over then we slice it and fry it and make sandwiches out of it...It goes great with baked potato and salad....

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground sirloin (lean)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup salsa verde
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage, dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 can tomatoes (fire roasted)

    Mix thoroughly with spoon or hand (prefer hand) Make a loaf and place in to cake pan...Pour fire roasted tomatoes over the top and place in the oven.

    Being it is 2 pounds of beef baking time is 1 hour and 15 minutes Depending on your altitude. Stick steak knife in center must come out clean is done...
