this a recipe I found in a our local newspaper recipes. its very simple and fast.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • one 10 oz
    can of beef broth
  • one 41/2 oz
    (with juice) mushrooms
  • 1 medium
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 medium
    chopped bell pepper
  • 1/3 c
    raw rice
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • ·
    salt to taste
  • ·
    pepper to taste

How to Make Jambalaya Rice Cooker

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook in rice cooker. When done stir in parsley and green onion tops. I put margarine and seasoning in first then meat and saute these a littele before adding other ingredients.
  2. Note:May use shrimp,crab,crawfish,sausage or chicken in place og ground meat.If these have been cooked please adjust salt accordingly.
