this a recipe I found in a our local newspaper recipes. its very simple and fast.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • one 10 ounces can of beef broth
  • one 41/2 ounces (with juice) mushrooms
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1/2 medium chopped bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup raw rice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • - salt to taste
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make jambalaya rice cooker

  • Step 1
    Cook in rice cooker. When done stir in parsley and green onion tops. I put margarine and seasoning in first then meat and saute these a littele before adding other ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Note:May use shrimp,crab,crawfish,sausage or chicken in place og ground meat.If these have been cooked please adjust salt accordingly.
