this a recipe I found in a our local newspaper recipes. its very simple and fast.

1 lb
ground beef
one 10 oz
can of beef broth
one 41/2 oz
(with juice) mushrooms
1 medium
chopped onion
1/2 medium
chopped bell pepper
1/3 c
raw rice
1/4 c
salt to taste
pepper to taste

How to Make Jambalaya Rice Cooker


  • 1Cook in rice cooker. When done stir in parsley and green onion tops. I put margarine and seasoning in first then meat and saute these a littele before adding other ingredients.
  • 2Note:May use shrimp,crab,crawfish,sausage or chicken in place og ground meat.If these have been cooked please adjust salt accordingly.
