My mom used to make this for our family when I was little . . . it's quick and easy, and perfect for that "summertime BBQ taste in the middle of the winter"! One of my dad's favorites! We would have this with a side salad and some green beans! YUMMO!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 can(s)
    refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 1/2 c
    favorite bbq sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 c
    shredded cheese (we prefer cheddar)

How to Make Jackpots

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef in skillet and drain fat.
  2. Add BBQ sauce and brown sugar to browned ground beef, stirring until mixed well.
  3. Line a greased (or sprayed) baking dish with biscuits, making sure to pinch them together to cover the bottom of the pan and up the sides.
  4. Pour BBQ meat into prepared biscuits in baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake according to directions on the biscuit can (usually 350 to 375 degrees for 12 to 18 minutes).
  7. Cut into squares and serve. (They are actually really good heated up the next day if you have leftovers!)
