Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 cup water
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 package spaghetti sauce mix, 1 1/2 ounces
- 1 - pie crust shell
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, grated

Step 1Preheat oven to 400.

Step 2Brown beef in large skillet.

Step 3Drain.

Step 4Add green pepper and cook 2 minutes.

Step 5Stir in water, tomato paste and spaghetti sauce mix.

Step 6Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 7Sprinkle half of the parmesan cheese over bottom of pie shell.

Step 8Spread half meat mixture in pie shell.

Step 9Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese over MEAT.

Step 10Layer remaining meat and parmesan cheese.

Step 11Bake on cookie sheet 15 minutes.

Step 12Sprinkle top with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Step 13Return to oven until cheese melts and browns.
