  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 (14.5) oz
    can italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese

How to Make Italian-Style Meatloaf


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs and ketchup.
  3. Season with Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, garlic salt, diced tomatoes and cheese.
  4. Press into a 9 X 5-inch loaf pan and cover loosely with foil.
  5. Bake in preheated oven approximately 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160 F.
