italian sloppy joes
Great for a buffet. Simply cook up the dish and transfer the meat to a Crock Pot on low temp. Put out the buns, cheese, and pepperoni and let people do their thing.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Yum! We loved these sloppy joes more than we expected to. They're a delicious twist on the classic recipe. The mixture of Italian sausage and ground beef add tons of flavor to the dish. We used provolone and allowed the hot meat to melt the cheese a bit. It was cheesy, gooey goodness. The pepperoni is a nice touch and pop of flavor. It's almost like a pizza on a bun.
